Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing objectives. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in content and performance marketing. Understand and utilise SEO best practices to improve organic visibility & website traffic. Analyse performance data to optimise content and improve conversion rates. Content Creation: Develop high-converting copy for paid social ads (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), Google Ads, and other performance marketing channels. Create engaging content for various channels, including blog posts, social media posts, video scripts, website copy and other content formats that resonate with the target consumer audience. Write compelling scripts for video ads and other multimedia content. A/B test ad copy and creatives to identify winning strategies. Platform Management: Manage and update website content using the CMS (e.g., Shopify, Wordpress). Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, newsletters, and automated sequences. Strategize and implement WhatsApp marketing initiatives, including broadcast messages, automated responses, and customer engagement campaigns. Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms to reinforce the company image and messaging. Collaboration within the marketing team: Work with product and marketing teams to ensure accurate product descriptions and feature highlights. Working closely with other teams like design, social media, and sales to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze content performance metrics across all platforms. Generate regular reports on content performance and provide insights for optimization. Use data to inform content strategy and identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience (4+ years) in content marketing, preferably in a B2C or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and best practices. Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience managing website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify). Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo). Experience with WhatsApp marketing tools and strategies is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
