Power BI Developer

What you will do everyday: Play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights for the organization. Leveraging your expertise in Power BI and data visualization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust reporting solutions. Your analytical skills will be instrumental in deciphering complex data sets and translating them into compelling visualizations that drive informed decision-making. Handle ad-hoc requests efficiently, ensuring the rapid delivery of critical insights when needed. Additionally, your active involvement in business team review calls, when required, will empower you to propose and implement the best alternatives for improving business processes and decision-making. Responsible for developing and working on databases, involving tasks such as writing SQL queries, creating views, and managing data structures. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of advanced Power BI solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the organization's data-driven success. Your Superpowers: Mandatory skills Advanced knowledge in Power BI (i.e., developing visually interactive reports, KPIs, dashboards, and usage of Parameters, Bookmarks, Visual and Page Level filters, etc.) Good understanding of the Power BI suite (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI embedded) Strong DAX and m-language (Power Query) knowledge for data manipulation and calculation development. Proven experience in Data Modelling and optimizing Power BI performance Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write, debug queries, and manage database components like Views, Triggers, and Stored Procedures Strong leadership capabilities, managing multiple projects and diverse report types concurrently Should have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills and must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and the business heads Good to have skills Experience in Data Warehousing Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) Experience configuring and working with Enterprise gateways and incremental refresh Knowledge of ADF (Azure Data Factory), Deployment Pipelines, etc.
